Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Bill Bazaar — the marketplace, billing software, payment-solution referrals, retail hardware, wallet, gift cards and recharge. By creating an account or using any of these services, you agree to them.
Who you are dealing with
Bill Bazaar™ is operated by M/S Universal Media, a sole proprietorship of Suresh.
60 Feet Road, Vellaiyan Kadu, Tiruppur – 641604, Tamil Nadu, India
1. What Bill Bazaar provides
- Marketplace listing — a public page for your shop and products so nearby customers can find you and contact you directly.
- Cloud billing & POS — GST invoicing, estimates, customer ledger, stock and reports, in a browser or on Android.
- Advanced Billing Software — a Windows desktop billing suite supplied, installed and supported by us.
- Payment solutions — a directory of payment providers we are a partner or referral partner for. We refer you; the provider contracts with you.
- Retail hardware — printers, scanners, rolls and counter equipment.
- Wallet, gift cards and recharge — prepaid balance used to buy vouchers and recharges.
Availability of any service may change, and some are switched off from time to time for maintenance, compliance or commercial reasons.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract.
- Give accurate details. A business account must reflect a real business you are entitled to represent.
- You are responsible for everything done under your login, including by your staff accounts. Keep credentials confidential.
- One person or business may not run multiple accounts to abuse trials, referrals or offers.
3. Marketplace — we are not a party to your transactions
- Bill Bazaar is a discovery and listing platform. When a customer contacts a shop through us, the sale is directly between the customer and that shop.
- We do not sell, stock, inspect, deliver or warrant any vendor's goods or services. We are not a party to that contract, we do not collect payment for it, and we earn no commission on it.
- Quality, price, stock accuracy, delivery, warranty, invoicing, returns and refunds are the vendor's responsibility. Disputes about an order must be settled between the customer and the vendor.
- We may remove any listing, and may suspend a vendor, but reviewing every listing is not practical and we do not represent that we have.
4. Vendor obligations
- List only goods and services you are lawfully entitled to sell, with honest prices, stock and descriptions.
- Hold the licences your trade requires (GST, FSSAI, drug licence and so on) and comply with them.
- Issue your own tax invoices to your customers. Bill Bazaar does not invoice your customers for you.
- Do not list prohibited items — see the list below.
- Respond to customer enquiries you receive through the platform in reasonable time.
- You own your content; you grant us a licence to display it on the platform and in related promotion while your listing is live.
Prohibited items
These may not be listed, described or advertised anywhere on Bill Bazaar — in product names, descriptions, photos, store names or store profiles.
- Adult or sexual content — pornography, sexual services, escort services, sex toys, nudity.
- Anything involving a minor in a sexual context. Reported to the authorities, no exceptions.
- Illegal drugs and narcotics, and equipment sold for taking them.
- Prescription-only medicine, abortion kits, steroids and "sex power" remedies.
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives, including country-made firearms.
- Counterfeit goods — first copy, replica or "7A quality" branded items, and fake currency.
- Fraud services — hacking, OTP bypass, stolen card data, fake certificates, fake IDs.
- Wildlife and human parts — ivory, protected skins, organs, blood.
- E-cigarettes and vaping products, which are banned in India.
- Anything else unlawful to sell where you and your customer are.
Restricted — not sellable through this marketplace
Legal to sell over a counter with the right licence, but not through an online marketplace listing: alcohol, tobacco and pan masala, and gambling, betting or lottery. You may describe your shop; you may not list these as products.
How this is enforced
- Listings are checked automatically as they are saved. A prohibited listing is refused before it ever goes public.
- A second prohibited listing suspends the store while we review it. Child-safety matches suspend it immediately.
- Automatic checks make mistakes. Every block is reviewed by a person, and if we got it wrong the store goes back up straight away — write to [email protected].
- Suspension does not affect your billing software, your invoices or your wallet balance — only your public marketplace listing.
5. Subscriptions and platform fees
- Paid plans are a platform fee for the software — not a commission on your sales. What you sell does not change what you pay.
- Prices, plan features and billing cycles are shown at the time of purchase and may change; changes apply from your next renewal.
- A free trial, where offered, is a chance to evaluate the software before paying. Its length is stated on the pricing page.
- Plans do not auto-renew by card mandate; you renew from your account. When a plan lapses, paid features stop and access to lead details may be restricted after a grace period.
- Taxes (GST) apply as required by law and are shown separately.
6. Billing software licence
- You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software for your own business for as long as your plan or licence is valid.
- Do not copy, resell, sub-licence, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source of the software.
- Advanced Billing Software (offline) runs on your own computer and stores your data on that computer — not on our cloud. Its safekeeping, including backups, is your responsibility. We will help you set up automatic backup; we cannot recover data lost from your device.
- Cloud billing stores your data on our infrastructure. You may export your records at any time. We keep reasonable backups but do not guarantee against all loss.
- Installation, migration, training and support are provided as described in your quote or plan.
7. Payment solutions — referral only
- We are a partner or referral partner of the payment providers listed on our site. We are not a payment aggregator, bank or PSP, and we are not RBI-regulated for payment processing.
- We do not collect, hold or settle merchant funds. KYC, approval, pricing, processing, settlement, chargebacks and support are handled by the provider you choose, under their agreement with you.
- We may earn a referral or partner commission from the provider. This adds nothing to your cost and is disclosed on the relevant pages.
- Approval is the provider's decision. We cannot promise onboarding, rates or timelines.
8. Retail hardware
- Hardware is sold subject to availability. Prices, models and specifications may change.
- Warranty is provided by the manufacturer or brand on their terms — not by us. You may raise a warranty or replacement claim directly with the brand's own service centre, or ask us and we will forward it for you. Either way the brand decides the outcome, and any repair, replacement or refund comes from them.
- Unused goods in original, sealed condition may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Used, installed or damaged items, and consumables such as paper rolls, are not returnable.
- Report items damaged in transit within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs.
9. Wallet & top-ups
- The wallet holds prepaid balance for buying gift cards, recharges and other supported services. It is not a bank account, earns no interest, and is not a payment instrument for use outside Bill Bazaar.
- Top-ups are made from the Wallet page, by paying the UPI ID shown there and submitting a payment screenshot (a UPI reference is optional but helps).
- Top-ups are verified manually. Your wallet is credited only after we confirm receipt in our bank account, usually during our working hours.
- Each UPI reference can be used once. Fake, duplicate or unverifiable proof is rejected and nothing is credited.
- We may require your device location for a payment as a fraud-prevention measure, and may decline a payment we cannot verify.
- Wallet balance is non-transferable between accounts.
10. Gift cards / vouchers
- Vouchers are issued by the respective brands through our supply partner. Availability, denominations, validity and redemption terms are set by the brand.
- Once a voucher code or PIN is shown to you, the purchase is final and non-refundable — the code is equivalent to cash.
- If a voucher fails to generate, the amount is refunded to your wallet automatically.
- Keep codes confidential. We cannot reissue a code that was shared, lost or already redeemed, and we are not responsible for expiry after delivery.
- Cashback on a gift card, where offered, is credited to your wallet 30 days after purchase and only if the purchase has not been reversed. Gift cards are sold at face value — no instant discount applies.
11. Recharge & bill payments
- Recharges are executed through a licensed provider. Enter the number and amount carefully.
- A recharge sent to a wrong number cannot be reversed. Check the number before you confirm.
- Cashback. Where cashback is offered on a recharge, you pay the full amount and the cashback is credited to your wallet after the recharge succeeds. Cashback is not cash — it can be spent on this platform and is not withdrawable on its own.
- Failed recharges are refunded to your wallet automatically. An operator may take time to confirm a pending transaction.
- Discount and cashback rates are shown before you confirm and may change at any time without notice.
- Where a recharge is done manually on your request, the amount is debited from your wallet on completion.
12. Refunds & cancellations
- Subscriptions and platform fees are non-refundable once the plan is active. A free trial is provided so you can evaluate the software before paying.
- If a prolonged failure on our side prevents you from using a paid service, we will first extend your plan for the affected period (a service credit). Where an extension is not a fair remedy, we may refund at our discretion.
- Setup, installation, migration and training already performed are not refundable, as the work has been delivered.
- Delivered vouchers, completed recharges and used hardware are not refundable (sections 8, 10, 11).
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days; your bank may take a further 3–5 working days to credit. Refunds go back to the original payment method or bank account, never to a third party.
- Wallet balance may be refunded to your bank account through the withdrawal request flow where that option is enabled on your account. We may ask for verification before paying out.
13. Referral programme
- Referral rewards are earned when a genuine new user signs up with your code and meets the stated conditions.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, bots or misleading promotion forfeit rewards and may close your account.
- Reward rates, tiers and minimum withdrawal are shown in the app and may change.
14. Acceptable use
- Do not use Bill Bazaar for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or in breach of someone else's rights.
- Do not attempt to break, probe or overload our systems, scrape at scale, or bypass rate limits and security controls.
- Do not upload malware, or content that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes copyright or trademark.
- Do not use the platform to launder money, to fund anything illegal, or to evade tax.
15. Intellectual property
Bill Bazaar™ is a trademark of M/S Universal Media. The platform, its software, design, content and branding belong to us or our licensors. Nothing here transfers any of that to you. Product and brand names of other companies belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or partnership.
16. Third-party services
Parts of the platform depend on third parties — hosting, authentication, payment providers, voucher and recharge suppliers, notification and email services. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply to what they provide.
17. Service availability
We work to keep the platform available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, provider outages and events beyond our control (force majeure — including network, power, bank or government action) may interrupt it.
18. Limitation of liability
- Bill Bazaar is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost business, lost data or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question in the 3 months before the claim arose — or ₹5,000, whichever is higher.
- We are not liable for transactions between a customer and a vendor (section 3), or for a payment provider's acts or omissions (section 7).
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify M/S Universal Media against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your listings or content, your transactions with customers, or your breach of any law.
20. Suspension & termination
- You may stop using the platform at any time and request account deletion from the app.
- We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or a legal requirement — with notice where practical, and immediately where not.
- On closure, unused wallet balance is returned to you subject to verification and applicable law. Delivered vouchers and completed services are not reversed.
21. Grievance Officer
If you have a complaint about the platform, the content on it, or how your information is handled, write to our Grievance Officer:
