1D and 2D scanners — wired and wireless, for fast counter billing.
A scanner turns billing from typing into pointing. Bill Bazaar billing already supports barcode entry, so a scanner plugs in and starts adding products to the bill immediately — no configuration.
Options
1D wired (laser)
Reads normal product barcodes. Plug into USB and it behaves like a keyboard. The cheapest way to speed up a counter.
2D wired (imager)
Reads 1D barcodes plus QR codes — including UPI QR and codes shown on a customer's phone screen.
Wireless / Bluetooth
For scanning across a shop floor or a godown where the item cannot come to the counter.
What to check before you order
- 1D is enough for printed product barcodes. Choose 2D only if you also need QR or on-screen codes.
- Wired is more reliable and never needs charging; wireless is worth it only if you scan away from the counter.
- A stand lets you leave the scanner in always-on mode and pass items over it.

Does it need a driver?
No. USB scanners register as a keyboard — open the billing screen, scan, and the code appears in the field.
Will it work with Bill Bazaar?
Yes. Barcode billing is available on plans where the barcode feature is enabled; the scanner types the code into the product field like any keyboard.
Can it scan a barcode from a phone screen?
Only a 2D imager can. Laser scanners cannot read from a screen.
